Notes: Ambrette, jasmine, cedar

The Bottle: Puts me in mind of curvaceously metallic modern architecture. Smooth, strong silhouette, with multi-dimensional interest. Manages the interesting trick of being both utilitarian looking and attractive. ****

The Scent: Softly mature, without presenting as too elderly or screaming “vintage”. As someone who appreciates pure jasmine only infrequently, this scent and I were clearly not destined for a lifetime of love. Wouldn’t mind a quick roll in the hay, however. The ambrette element is charming and understated, and the sophistication factor here is high – no silly celebrity juice, this. As it happens, it may not be destined for a long-lasting relationship with anyone, as the longevity is quite poor. Final Verdict: Pretty and commitment phobic. ****
