Category: Oriental Vanilla

Notes: Caramel, benzoin wood extract, musk

The Bottle: Distinctly odd, but in way that makes you itch to touch it. It certainly isn’t graceful or particularly feminine, but it draws one in nonetheless with its whimsical, somewhat bizarre silhouette. Refreshingly original. ****

The Fragrance: Candy in name, candy in the nostrils. True to its word, the smell invokes childhood memories without becoming cloying and sticky/sickly. Deceptively simple (and a little harsh) when first sprayed, Candy smoothly transforms into a light, complex little potion of innocent sweetness and barely perceptible woodiness. Not so delightful that I’ll throw a full scale tantrum when it’s discontinued, but certainly pleasant and girlish without straying into teen-only territory. ***
